Enrolling at RNPS
As a Victorian government school, we provide a fantastic educational option for all families living in and around Ringwood North. If you live in the area and have a child of school age, contact the school to discuss how we might be the best fit for your child and family. Tours run regularly from February through to June for future Prep students and children moving from other schools.
FUTURE PREP ENROLMENTS
If your child is starting school next year, it is time to take a tour and see what we’re all about. Contact the office and book a tour or come along to our Open Day or Open Night. We encourage parents to contact the school and start enrolment before May. Our transition program for new Prep students starts in October and runs through November each year.
Children can start school in the year they turn 5 years of age, if their birthday is before April 30. For children born after May 1, they should start school in the year they turn 6.
You will need to provide a birth certificate and immunisation records when enrolling.
If your child is still a couple of years from starting, we encourage you to attend our community events to get a feel for the school and community.
MOVING SCHOOLS
Whether you’re moving from interstate or just across Melbourne, we are always welcoming to students moving into the area.
We always request that families moving schools discus with their current school their intention to leave. Following that, contact us to arrange a tour or enrolment. Records of previous schooling, such as school reports, are always important to help us work effectively with your child.
New arrivals to Australia can contact the school to discuss enrolment. Certain visa types have restrictions on how to enrol so please ensure you have visa details, immunisation records, details of previous schooling and a current passport.
